    Chinese Ink Painting is all about elegance and precision. Therefore correct posture, basic skills of brush work, use of ink and colour are crucial tools for beginners of Chinese Ink Painting. Children will learn to paint different objects with simple strokes such as flowers, birds, goldfish, cats and frogs etc. Through training, children learn creativity, design and concentration.     In this course, children will learn the different writing techniques for Chinese Calligraphy. Children will learn the correct seated posture, the proper way to hold a brush, and the eight basic strokes of script writing. They will also be introduced to the works of famous calligraphers. This character building course greatly improves your child’s handwriting and ability to concentrate. Continuation of this program will be offered from September onwards.

Summer Program Policies

  • Places are offered on a “first-come-first-served” basis.fee of HK$30.00, and submit to any one of our studios for application.

  • Please pay the appropriate course fee by way of credit card, EPS, Octopus or crossed cheque made payable to “Jean M. Wong for Arts”.

  • Places will only be confirmed when full payment is made.

  • Fees paid cannot be transferred or refunded under any circumstances.

  • No make-up lessons will be arranged under any circumstances including sickness, typhoon no.8, Black Rain Storm warning or other personal commitment.

  • “Jean M. Wong School of Ballet” and “Jean M. Wong for Arts Creative Arts Centre” reserve the right to alter the advertised program and/ or faculty as necessary.

  • No audio or video recording, photo taking without prior permission from the School.

  • “Jean M. Wong School of Ballet” and “Jean M. Wong for Arts Creative Arts Centre” take no responsibility for any injuries or loss of personal properties within the School premises.

  • Students, who cause damages to any School properties or equipment, will be held responsible for the repair costs or the replacement of such items.

  • The program policy is prepared in English with a Chinese translation. The English text will prevail in the event of any inconsistency between the two versions.

Dress Code

  • School ballet uniform is compulsory for students attending ballet class.

  • For Jazzy Kids and K-Pop Dance, students need to put on the School’s jazz T-shirt, comfortable black pants and black jazz shoes.

  • For all other courses, students are suggested to wear comfortable outfit.

  • All School’s accessories and dance wear can be purchased upon registration (except jazz shoes).
